Travel / Premier Tryout Approach

SCOR offers its players an organized and club-monitored tryout process.  The process is as detail-oriented as possible so that all players can be assessed fairly, without prejudice for an appropriate level, whether it's a travel / premier team or a recreation-plus team.  Our intent is to do our best at making sure no player is placed on a team that will hurt their individual development.

  •  Final decisions on rankings and placements are made by the professional coaching team.
  •  The tryout sessions will include activities from the SideKick Ball Mastery initiatives.  Any player can go to and familiarize themselves with all 3 levels, depending on age, to prepare for tryouts.
  •  Players will be offered either a Travel/Premier team spot or the opportunity to join SCOR’s Rec-Plus program.  Recreation-Plus provides quality soccer development, competition against local town teams, and professional coach exposure.
  •  Final roster decisions will be communicated in July, as soon as possible.
  • If a player is not recommended to a travel team, a refund or credit will be provided as per SCORs refund policy.
