It is SCOR's philosophy that players develop best when exposed to a variety of teammates and coaches. All team assignments are based on this philosophy. All House coaches are volunteers. Coaches will, at the beginning of the season, provide players with game schedules. Players will hear from their assigned coaches a week before the start of the season, or sooner. If you have not heard during this approximate time frame, contact:
Administrative Director
Stephanie Firstbrook 203-438-SCOR (7267)
Soccer Club of Ridgefield
P.O.Box 694
Ridgefield, CT 06877
House teams practice one day during the week, at a designated practice time (except PreK, K and 1st Grade who do not have practices). All House games are scheduled on Saturdays between 8 AM and 2 PM, the exceptions being make-ups or Jamborees.
Volunteers
In the pursuit of its commitment to excellence, SCOR is heavily dependent on members willing to share of themselves. If you are interested in volunteering your time as a coach, assistant coach, manager of a team, or in any other way, please contact:

Equipment
All players MUST, in practice and in game play, wear shin guards and soccer shoes. Sneakers are acceptable footwear in K & sG Patrol only. The SCOR/CJSA player insurance is only 100% applicable for players wearing proper equipment. As representatives of SCOR on the field, Coaches and Managers must enforce this safety requirement. In addition, players should bring water, a bag to put their things in (optional), and a soccer ball appropriate to their Division: G Patrol, F Troop, D/E ##4; C/D ##5.
For the safety of all players, jewelry is not allowed during practice and play. Please see the SCOR No Jewelry Policy for details.

Holland Division*
The Holland Division was established in 2004 as a separate division of the Soccer Club of Ridgefield to enable boys and girls with physical and mental disabilities to enjoy the game of soccer along with the millions of other children who participate in this sport worldwide. Games include typical peers (often siblings) to help out, along with the Holland Division director and coach, as well as volunteers from Ridgefield High School. The children are encouraged to learn to kick the ball, learn basic soccer skills, and most of all to have fun. The Holland Division players wear the same uniforms and use the same equipment as other SCOR players.
Why the "Holland" Division? Please read here.
* Holland is only offered in the Fall.
